Dennis is an architectural designer with a formidable work history and a passion for designing thoughtful solutions to wide-ranging challenges. Dennis credits his mixed heritage and fine arts education for his love of quality craftsmanship and appreciation of different perspectives, which only deepened while interning at LVMH. Inspired by the luxury retail industry’s mix of collaborators, he chose to specialize in lighting and facade design by way of award-winning graduate coursework and internships. 

 

Dennis is a proud recipient of the Friends of the Gamble House Scholar-in-Residence Fellowship, and since earning a Master’s Degree in Building Science from the University of Southern California in 2016, Dennis has been on a technically-focused career trajectory at Enclos. As a designer in the Advanced Technology Studio, Dennis has utilized a refined aesthetic sense and technical parametric design skills to support Pre-Construction sales and Design Assist efforts. Through DA, Dennis has enjoyed collaborating with project design teams, whose architectural intent is balanced with considerations for constructability, schedule, and cost.

 

Working independently towards multiple, fast-paced project deadlines, he has developed a mature work ethic and self-management style that has proven critical to the success of Enclos’ recent projects including the Chase Center Arena, Circa Hotel and Casino, Sherwin Williams HQ, Allegiant Stadium, and San Diego Intl. Airport. He has supported teams working on projects at later stages of development through frequent stretch assignments which have led to excellent relationships with Estimating, Production Engineering, Project Management, Field Installation, and C-Suite personnel.

 

Dennis has been enhancing his knowledge of production detailing and fabrication techniques after transitioning to the organization’s Engineering department as a BIM Lead in 2022 . In addition to project work, Dennis has proudly advanced the organization’s Diversity Equity and Inclusion efforts through the design of (physical) products, experiences, and initiatives that inspire a more inclusive work culture.
